XIV - Temperance

Keywords: harmony, healing, moderation, re-aligning and restoring

The Temperance Tarot card is represented by the Horologium constellation in the Constellation Tarot deck. This is the constellation of the pendulum clock, which uses a pendulum that swings back and forth at a precise time interval. To remain accurate, the mechanism must remain stationary and balanced.⁣

When Temperance comes up in a Tarot card reading, it represents moderation, harmony and healing. When opposite forces are balanced and things align in their right place and proportion, harmony is achieved.

This usually takes place after a major change, like a restoration after a storm. It's a time of quiet and calm while you readjust yourself, and harmonize your inner world.

The universe is in a constant state of rebalancing itself through the push and pull of opposites. Just like the clock that is balanced as the pendulum swings from one side to the other.

This is a time to focus on the higher divine order that runs your life, to heal and restore your energy, and once that is aligned, the details will take care of themselves.⁣
